In the summer months, we fish aboard my 25' Trophy for walleye. The fishing area is one of the best walleye hatcheries in the nation. Limit catches are very normal no matter what the crew size. Trolling body baits or harnesses on a hands on experienced charter boat can be very rewarding with a good catch of some of the best walleye fishing in the Great lakes. You haven't experienced the best, until you fished the waters of the Saginaw Bay off the JD's Revenge Charters. These monsters can reach over #30 with the average adult ranging from 15#-25#. These fish fight very hard and generally pull out a lot of line before you can get them turned around and headed for the net. After tangling with one of these monsters you may want to rest for a while before tackling another. After mid August you can also run into schools of Coho Salmon which are normally smaller, but put up a great fight. You haven't experience the best, until you fished the waters of Frankfort off the JD's Revenge Charters.
