What type of license do you need?
Fishing licenses are available in three (3) types:
An annual restricted fishing license is valid for all fishing except salmon and trout.
An annual all species fishing license is valid for all fishing including salmon and trout.
A one day fishing license is valid for all fishing including salmon and trout.
Fishing licenses continue to be very reasonably priced in Michigan. The cost of your license depends on your classification, ie: resident or non-resident, senior, military, etc. The MDNR web site will show you all your options.
